You get an idea what a manager has to go through every day. His is at a very high level. He has situations he has to deal with and the expectations he has to deal with, the personalities he has to deal with. It's a lot.

So we have some tough decisions to make. So, in another two weeks and three days, we'll see what happens.

We haven't talked about any changes with [Johnson]. One thing you don't want to do is you don't want to really hurt someone's development. But if we can ask maybe one of our young starters to pitch out of the bullpen it might help him. So we'll have to make that decision. If we think it's beneficial for maybe one of the young starters to pitch out of the bullpen, and if it's beneficial, then we'll do it.

So far he's been everything as advertised. He's pitched well. He's been great in the clubhouse. I really appreciate the way he tries to lead and his work ethic. I'm not sure Matt knows that I watch so closely.

I talk to Joe on a pretty regular basis. I talk to him about situations and advice. I'm anxious to see him. He's always been good to me as a player, as a coach. He gave me a ton of responsibilities last year. He's someone you can model yourself after, not only as a manager, but as a person.

We need him in the lineup. My guess is we won't see that very often.
