Finally, one of the balls bounced our way. Not only was it a great victory in terms of wins and losses, but it was a great emotional victory. We played hard the whole game and it really paid off in the end. And I think throughout the season, it's something to look back on and say, 'Hey we did this before.' I really think it'll set us up with some good momentum.

It's definitely made a huge difference, especially in times of trouble. We didn't necessarily have a couple good series in Dallas, and it would have been easy to point the finger and blame it on something. But having the camaraderie that we do and knowing where everybody is going to be, we were able to fight through it and have a great fourth quarter.

I think it was a great time as a line for us to have a bye week, ... because we got to work on mainly communication things. We've got to all get on the same page and stay that way.

It is a first for me.

It was good to see that side of him. It's probably an indication of how much stress we've all been under, having to answer all the questions about, 'Is it still a rivalry if you can't win?' Blah, blah, blah. I think if you go down to Dallas this morning and ask anybody about that game, I think the rivalry is still there.

[The splints] take the pressure off my thumb, and it doesn't hurt, ... But I just have to get the confidence to throw it in there.

He's obviously very disappointed in a lot of things. But I think he's going to work on the things that coach wants him to work on. And when he gets his chance again, I think he'll be ready.

I've talked to him at length about some different things, ... And the thing about it is, Patrick is old enough and he's mature enough and professional enough not to really need a whole lot of [advice]. I'm just there as a friend to support him and to be there for him when he does want to vent and talk about whatever he wants to talk about.

Obviously, I would rather play with 10 good fingers, ... But four on each hand will do.

I don't think that's something that Patrick has said at all or entertained.

When [trainer] John Burrell told me the right one was broken, no one could believe it, but the other didn't hold me back on Sunday and I don't think having two will either.

Obviously we're happy with this win. But there are things we have to work on and continue to improve on, and [turnovers] are definitely one area.

I think the organization deserves better than what they have had for six or seven or 10 years. This is an organization that has seen great, great success, and we don't want to be the ones that have allowed it to go unsuccessful for so long. With Coach Gibbs coming back, that was a step to getting back to the success. We want to win games for a man who's been good to us and very loyal to us.
