It is a sad fact that propaganda is trampling truth in the debate over the so-called emergency contraceptive pill. Proponents of this deadly drug continue to claim these pills reduce abortions by preventing pregnancy. The fact is, this pill can kill a newly-formed human being before he nestles in his mother's womb.

The misinformation campaign promoted by the pro- abortion camp is unbelievable. Scientists know that a human being begins at conception. Yet many in their community, the media and the culture of death proponents deny the facts in order to dupe women and advance the body count.

While high-profile media attention has been focused on South Dakota's effort to outlaw abortion, Hawaii is quietly set to become the baby killing center of the Pacific.

Americans should demand an end to taxpayer support for the likes of Planned Parenthood. That is why American Life League is stepping up its petition campaign to encourage lawmakers at the federal, state and local levels to cut off every penny of taxpayer assistance to Planned Parenthood, which operates the country's deadliest chain of abortion facilities. We simply cannot tolerate the idea of our tax money being used to subsidize these offensive activities.

It is the government's duty to educate and protect the American people. American Life League calls on the FDA to tell the truth and immediately remove this deadly drug from the market.

The combined effect of all of these changes will be to make Hawaii one of the quickie-abortion capitals of the world.

More and more Americans are becoming aware of the fact that when somebody mentions the word abortion, they're actually talking about killing a baby.

The five pro-abortion public officials highlighting today's 20th anniversary luncheon for Emily's List each need to hear the Catholic Church's teachings about abortion, ... These women, who claim to be Catholic, all adamantly defy the Church. It would be my hope that each of their bishops contacts them as soon as possible to remind them it is impossible to be Catholic and pro-abortion.
