We've talked about all going somewhere as a package deal, as the Three Amigos, because we know we can help someone win. But you know, they might want those two and not me and I'd be out there on my own.

This division is where you want to be as a baseball player. There's nothing like it. It's like 162 playoff games.

This team spent 63, 64 days in first [in 2005], and they were not fun to play. They competed. They hit and had a bunch of young arms. This team has the potential to do some good things. You've got to believe it, and if you don't believe it, it's not going to happen.

I pulled the ball a lot more than I wanted to the last couple years. The big thing is that I've squared back up, and I'm allowing my hands to work.

Crow's helped me a lot on my focus, thinking center. That base hit to right was a better piece of hitting than that home run.

The guy is too good of an athlete to play there. He should be playing left field. He'll have no problems at first base. If I can play there, anybody can.

He's got a great demeanor. He carries himself like a professional and, obviously, he's got tremendous upside. I think this kid's got legitimate talent and probably has a legitimate shot at making this club.

It's always nice when you get a chance to play against your old teammates for the first time. There are a lot of guys you haven't seen since last season. Now I'm a member of the Orioles, but it was great to see those guys, great to give them all hugs.

The one thing I can always relate with the Red Sox fans is that I gave everything I had every night. They appreciate the blue-collar-type guy that's not as talented as everybody but gives his all. It was a nice welcome.
