Obviously, I'm a little tight from having done minimal exercise and activity the past so many weeks. I've just got to be patient. Things will go on and get better in time.

In this day and age, it is a different deal. Hopefully, I can take advantage of that after teams get used to seeing lefties. If they see three lefties and then me, maybe their lefties (hitters) might be a little rusty when they face me.

Right now, it's just a matter of getting my strength and endurance back. So far, no setbacks.

We lost, that's what it all boils down to. As a starter, you want to have quality starts and give your guys a chance to win, but what can you say?

I was hoping to get out of the inning without it blowing up like it did,

I was just hoping to get out of that inning without having it blow up like it did, ... When you put that much pressure on yourself to make a quality pitch, it's like a time bomb waiting to go off.

I'm just going to keep on going out there and try to get ahead in the count and get guys out quickly instead of throwing six, seven or eight pitches to each hitter, ... If I had all the answers, I wouldn't be in this situation. It's just a battle.

I couldn't seem to get any kind of rhythm, ... I just didn't really didn't have a good feel for being able to locate the ball. Obviously, my pitch count got up quickly and it was kind of wearing me out. I was just hoping to get out of that last inning without having it blow up like it did.

It's frustrating, ... But it's just kind of been going that way. I don't know what to say.

A good piece of hitting, ... But they tell you solo homers don't hurt you. I'm not going to beat myself up too much over that one.

I give these guys in this clubhouse credit for not just laying down, because even though I was out of the game and frustrated and upset about what happened, these guys still had to go out there and play and give them a fight,

From a positive standpoint, regardless of how I pitched and how frustrating it was to watch me throw, or whether questions arise on whether I'm doing what I should be doing, they still played a great game and our guys didn't give up,

Obviously at this point in the season it was a goal of mine to go out there and try to have a quality outing and finish on a good note,
