We knew if we could take the air out of the ball and execute our stuff we'd be able to put the ball in the basket.

I've been on her the last few weeks to execute, and she got some help from the people around her and it was great to see.

They're a very good basketball team and we've got them on their home floor. They're fresh and they don't have to travel a day. I mean, I could get to the East Coast as fast as I could get to Wyoming.

I think that we were tired, there's no question about that. It took us a whole day to get here, and we played a game two days ago. And they haven't played since their conference tournament, so they are fresh.

It was hard coming in here after just playing on Thursday. We played hard but we got a little tired in the second half. I'm happy with our effort, but not too happy with the outcome.

We knew coming in that Wyoming was a good shooting team and we had to get a hand in their face. We were able to do that in the opening minutes of the game. Then we got away from that and that hurt us.

Wyoming is a very good team and we knew that coming into the game. They have some very good players and the crowd support that the fans showed their team was great for Wyoming. This is a tough place to play.

They've given everything they could to this program, they really battled, and tonight we just came out on the short end of the stick. But I'm very proud of them and the legacy that they've left at Oregon State.

I sat beside Mandy at the Pac-10 Media Day (in November) and we left early because no one was asking us any questions. On the cab back to the airport we made a promise to each other that we wouldn't finish last. We took that to the rest of the team and that's been a tribute to them.

I think we have a really good shot at playing. We finished with a 15-14 record and had wins over Cal and a very good USC team. And we won seven Pac-10 games.

We don't have a lot of depth, and we've got a new system we're trying to learn. They're doing the best they can with the numbers we have and the talent we have.

It was a great win for our program and I'm glad that we won it. But I think the main thing is overall it was a good game. It was two teams that were really battling.

Players make plays and that was a big play. We really wanted to win this game tonight.

We can't have any period, in any game. We can't turn the ball over.

They play in the Big East, they're talented, and it will be another tough test for us.
