I got in better shape the first year in college [at Minnesota] and I was getting up there a little bit, ... I tried to touch the rim and, you know, I'm thinking I'm going to dislocate something. I landed kind of funny. I was like, `This isn't worth it. I'm never going to dunk. I'm never going to finger-roll and touch the rim.' I haven't tried since.

That's funny, ... That's a pretty creative way of putting it into words, actually, because that's what it probably looks like when I'm running around out there with the ball.

It was a nickname given to me by some college friends, ... It was kind of made up because I spin the rhymes and drop the dimes. But I basically make fun of myself because I'm not musically inclined. I don't have a whole lot of rhythm, so it's funny and it rhymes. It just kind of stuck. I don't really tell a whole lot of people, but now the secret is out.

It's just a lot of instinct and it's a lot of understanding of what's there and what's not there,

As much as I try to add pizazz and flare, which makes the game great, there is a lot to be said about execution and making the right plays. All that DJ Whay and hoopla and stuff, if it's effective and it's working, then great, but I'll take execution before pizazz for a championship any day.

I've been having that my whole life, where there haven't been a lot of individual awards,

Besides, it's all about the team. If you get too caught up in your own individual awards, it takes away from your focus and it takes away from being a part of the team. Always put the team first. That's what my dad always taught me. Share the credit. Take the blame. That's how you have to be.

It felt like a track meet. I was getting a little winded out there. I just wanted to stay aggressive, stay in the middle and create things that way.

You earn victories like this just by sticking with it and digging down,

They came out and played great defense, ... But the thing I liked was, for a while there, they weren't scoring either. I was happy with the way we played defense while we were struggling.

We know [Detroit] will come back and play even harder next game.

We knew they were going to make a run at us. We just had to settle down. We weren't panicking. We just became more ticked off at that point.

It could be worse, ... I'm already kind of running around and jumping. They kind of said to me `just see how you feel.'

I feel good, ... We'll just wait and see what it's like (today). I can't really say today whether I'll play tomorrow, the next day or even next Sunday.

I ran the rest of the game, ... It's just a little swollen and a little stiff. It's not painful. It's not horrible pain. Obviously, I played with it in the second half. I was conscious of it, so I could feel something wasn't exactly right. I just played through it. After the game there was some swelling, and then (Sunday and Monday) there was a little more swelling.
