Mike's the kind of guy that if he makes his first couple, he doesn't think he's going to miss -- ever -- for the rest of his life.

We have always been impressed with Stanford. They are a solid team and never give you a game.

I would say we are in a pretty good rhythm right now.

Brandon was very, very good. I think his game speaks for itself. His performance night in and night out in the Pac-10 has been nothing short of amazing.

Mike is the kind of guy, if he hits his first couple shots then he doesn't think he's going to miss, ever, for the rest of his life. It seems to uplift his entire game. Because of that, I think it helped him concentrate even more on the defensive end.

When Mike is hitting, no only does the defense have to extend, but he usually has the tallest guy on him. So now it creates driving lanes for some of our other people.

Senior day is going to be a special day for these guys. They've accomplished a lot.

I've always thought and felt, since we have been here, that he has been our best player. Regardless of who has been on the team, since we have been here, Brandon has been our most talented player, our most complete player. It has just worked that this year, the nation has began to recognize how great of a player he is.

Those guys, along with last year's seniors, will go down in this program's history as very, very special basketball players. You hate to see them go.

No one can ever duplicate that. It's the first group that you spent four years with at the place where you like being at and the place you hope to coach at for a long time. You never forget that group.

But, I've never coached a player as versatile as Brandon.

Our team played well. They did a nice job and it's nice to play this way as we prepare to go on the road for these last two games.

I don't think any lobbying needs to be done. Just look at the record of the team and the stats, and I think it's already done. I don't think anybody has to beg for Brandon Roy.

In the second half, he just took over.

He did what great players do. Great players take their team to great heights and he did that tonight with the help of his teammates. But the second half, he just took over.
