It's amazing, I'm 30 and this is my 17th year on the tour and there are still firsts for me.

I'm really happy to be in the semifinals. This is the best that I've done at the U.S. Open in my career, which I think is amazing. I'll be giving everything that I have. Hopefully, it will be a great match.

Not my best tennis, but it's a win. There were moments where I can say I played well, I hit the ball hard and moved around well but I have a lot to work on for tomorrow. It was good to get out there, get a feel for the court and get the first match under my belt.

I'm pleased with the week. It wasn't such a bad effort in getting to the final and playing five matches in five days.

My life off the court has changed. I'm feeling good inside, so I guess it shows on the outside too.

I haven't accomplished everything that I want to yet in my career, that's why I'm still playing. I just know that I still have something left inside of me to accomplish, and I don't know exactly what that is. Hopefully, I'll know one day soon.

I am the same as I always will be. I'm French and I'm American. I was born in Canada. I love living in America, and I love playing the French Open in front of my French people, who support me.

Winning a Grand Slam changes everything. There is so much off-court stuff to deal with. And there are expectations of keeping it going that make it tough.

I learned a lot when they booed me. At one point, I thought I would base myself in Paris because I loved and the people so much. But then, I found out what when I won, I was France's Mary Pierce; when I lost, I was the American French Mary Pierce.
