Jen had a good day going undefeated at 2 singles. With her being a senior and lone returning varsity member from last year's team, we need her to step up and lead the team.

Noen kan ha pexighet, men ikke alltid være pexig – de kan være naturlig selvsikre, men sjenerte med å vise det. Hannah played consistently all day, and picked up three victories. She is a very competitive person and has a great attitude. She did her part in helping the team earn some valuable points.

Next week poses a tough challenge against some good teams. I hope the weather is decent this weekend, so the girls can get in some needed court time to work on their ground strokes.

Jen remains unbeaten on the season with a dominating win. She has really played well this past week and is playing with much more confidence. Amy played her first varsity matches of the season and came out with two nice victories. Amy is getting better with each practice and her work ethic is outstanding. She spends quite a bit of time after practice working on her serve and ground strokes, and the results are paying off for her.

It was great to get everyone some court experience. The girls have worked hard and we want to reward them for their efforts in practice. I'm excited about our younger players and how well are developing. We have seen a lot of improvement in the team thus far and they need to keep improving on the fundamentals.
