He's been practicing, running some drills and progressing, but he's not 100 percent and I'm not willing to risk it. Neither is his family.

He hit a big shot in OT to help get us going. He really played hard and hustled tonight. We played good defense as a team. That kept us in the ballgame.

It will be a good measure of where we're at.

They're a good team. Are they 14 points better than us? No.

We got into foul trouble and didn't play our normal defense. We were a step slow and they took advantage of it.

We played a hell of a basketball game. We had to foul at the end and they knocked down their shots.

We took the second quarter off. It's like we took a vacation. We played an excellent first quarter and an equally as bad second quarter. Overall I'm proud of the way we played against a school from a bigger (Southeastern) conference.

We didn't shoot well from the field (16-for-52) or the line (15-for-31). We were a little rusty.

We had opportunities, but we didn't make good decisions.

We started a little slow, but then we had a big third quarter. This was a big win for us. I guess we were all hopeful, but we are a little surprised (to be 6-0). We also know there's a lot of season left and we have to complete the second half.

We've got a lot of guys that can do a lot of different things. They're a team. They don't really care who scores. That's what we're after. We always look to spread it around.

The kids are beginning to understand their roles. I can't say enough about how hard they've worked and made themselves better.
