I've said this one time before ? if anybody could do it, we wouldn't go around the country recruiting these guys to play quarterback. We'd just go to 7-Eleven and pull the guys out of there. There's a lot of guys at 7-Eleven who'd like to play quarterback.

I would have to say that this is the best Texas team that I have been involved in playing against. Texas is a great team. They would find a way to make the big play or keep doing they things they were doing. I think they are very capable of winning a national championship.

I thought he was pretty good. We contained him for a period of time but he is very explosive and can go off at any given moment. He is a great player and he commands as much attention as any player in the conference.

Their speed impacted our margin of error. Everything coming faster, their ability to react, even when we got them in a bind they were able to react quickly.

They challenged us. They said, 'Here, try to run past us, try to run inside us.' And they were better at preventing that than we were throwing and catching it.

I can't address that, but, yeah, I appreciate your words of support there.

That was a significant drive. That was a drive that, where if you dominate that drive you get the upper hand.

I think the biggest thing was our own consistency. Alabama's high level of play and our consistency (was the difference).

I thought Alabama out played us in all three phases of the game by a narrow margin. They didn't do anything different from what we had seen. They just out-executed us.

It took a long time to get in sync, and I'm not sure we ever did. There speed on defense was significant. It impacted our margin of error. But I was proud that our guys didn't quit.

The first drive of the second half was the most significant drive of the game. They controlled the ball in the second half, keeping our offense off the field.
