I feel just as strongly as Hannu as I did about Andrew ... But I want it to be clear that we want to get Andrew back in the fold.

He's very important. As an 18-year-old to do what he did two years ago, it's incredible. Even last year in Providence, he was the youngest player in the league and was incredible. He is an important part of this team and hopefully we get another one of him; actually five more of him.

Andrew has emerged as one of the brightest young goaltenders in the NHL. That was established when he won the Calder Trophy in 2004 and finished among the league leaders overall in goals-against average and save percentage.

Excellent. We have some great depth and really this is one of the pluses of camp. I look at the candidates we have for a couple of spots and they are all top prospects.

I think we have the ability to get something done with both of them to get them in. I think we're a little closer to getting something done with Boynton, but I don't know when it might happen with either one of them.

Tim is a solid, dependable goaltender who gives us some depth at that position.

If he wants to play for the Bruins, I guess we have to make a decision on if we really want him on our team. We really want him on our team, but how much further do we want to go?

This team, the way it's set up with the rule changes, I think that we have to be considered one of the favorites for the Stanley Cup.

Charlie lives it. He lives and breathes it like I do. Like Harry does. Like our players do. It's a good thing.

And to expect Joe to be that at 24 is not fair, but if we can hurry the process up, we'll try to do that. I talked to Joe this summer about some of these issues and to become a more well-rounded player and to become a real winner. What defines great players? They win. And the offensive stats are great, but it's all about the winning.

He's very consistent. He works hard in both ends of the rink and he has a very hard shot that surprised a lot of people with the way he can shoot the puck. He has a big body. And really he's probably been night in and night out our most consistent player. He has a good frame and good legs. He gets to the front of the net and then he's tough to move.

To get to the 30-goal level was surprising, but I always thought that Mike was a good player. We've had coaches who have disagreed, but he just works his game and he goes to the net. He's responsible and he does the little things that you like in players. He's been very good for us as long as he's been here.
