It's a significant injury. This one is significant enough to keep him out the rest of the season.

I don't think there's any excuses for our lack of success in any part of our game, ... We didn't execute that part of our game. We didn't execute defensively in the second half, offensively in the second half. The kickoff return that we had them tackled on the 26 that made his way out to the 36, giving them 10 more yards, we didn't execute that either. So, there are no excuses whatsoever in any part of our game. Including missed field goals.

He looked like he should have made that tackle to me. He dropped his head and should have made that tackle at about the 26-yard line. And he didn't make the tackle.

Yeah, I thought Joey Thomas should have sat on the route a little better than he did. He drifted at the top of the route. He should have sat on that a little bit, played for a field goal, that was their best option and we kind of drifted at the top of the route and gave them that one.

My understanding is that he'd be ready to go next year. But I can't validate that.

I think we have to be careful. He's made a remarkable recovery from this injury and we just want to make sure that he's 100 percent, we don't put him at risk out there.

The doctors, and their conservative nature as it is, thought it was ill-advised to put him out there last week. I'm glad we didn't. I think the extra week definitely has helped him.

There's only so much he can do at quarterback and I think he's doing plenty right now, ... He's playing well enough for us to win. We have to find ways to improve other than the quarterback.

I thought we had some momentum going, but there could have been an injury on the field that could have slowed things down. We had our chances and didn't take advantage of them.

I prefer that he didn't do that. There was no communication amongst the receivers, and I am sure he was thinking they would just take off on the fake and respond accordingly, which they didn't do.

But it's a little bewildering that someone could get that far up the field.

The thing is the guys battled. They didn't stop. I think the team as a group are fairly resilient, fairly together. I don't see them cracking in spite of any of the adversity we face.
