We are so proud, and so grateful, to have been able to provide essential humanitarian services to so many with the help of over 100 volunteers. Of those, about 50 had previous experience with Red Cross disaster relief locally, regionally or nationally. In many cases, they provided key leadership where first-time volunteers made up the bulk of the responders.

It's this generosity that makes Red Cross disaster response possible.

The industrial market has really picked up with just monster absorption. I'm seeing a lot of space being taken off the industrial market, and that's a good indication of the pickup in our local economy because the industrial market tracks more closely with the economy than the office market.

I feel real comfortable and I'll just take whatever they give me. Right now, I'm just playing my role on the team. Whatever the other teams gives me, I'll take it.

It's been fun for me tonight.

No matter what you go through, everybody will have role. I'm just playing my role.

Changing your role, once you get to college, is a big part of maturing and becoming a better player. At first, it was kind of hard doing it. But I realized for us to win, I had to play my role. I had to change everything mentally.

Even though Brad has been struggling, he's a big part of this team and we really need him. But if he's not playing well, I have to come in and spark the team any way I can. My goal, whenever I come into the game, is to bring as much energy as I can.

I might go down. But I am still on my high fat, low exercise diet.

Luckily the bags don't hit back do they? They told me to tie my right hand to my head, I keep dropping my guard.

What we're allowing is access anywhere, anytime, that can be unique to the user and flexible enough to meet different people's characteristics. And this is a whole new level of sharing.

You get somebody in here and they say they only need it two or three months, and they'll stay a year. We have 800 units here, and I'm full.

Last year, in addition to the hurricane situation, we responded to 30 disasters here in Henderson County. The bulk of those were single-family fires. They were certainly full blown disasters to the victims and it's our chapter's responsibility to recruit, train and organize people to help them.

We have been asked to do a complete analysis of safety net services, and the strengths and weaknesses of that system. Any issue is on the table.

I think everyone gets the message and those that don't will get weeded out.
