I don't know if his leg was hurt or not, ... All of a sudden, we were like, 'What's going on here?' But that's just typical A's baseball, you know?

It's the old-school A's. I think there are six or seven guys who have a chance to hit 20 homers in that lineup, and maybe more. It's really exciting to see what's going to happen. I'm juiced and I know everyone else is excited too.

The biggest thing is that there are no more excuses. We can't say we don't know what's going to happen -- we've been through it once. Now it's time to go to work.

It's been like that all spring. It's just that balls decided to hang up there. It's hard to catch it when you can't see it. But that's how it's going to be in Oakland in the afternoon anyway.

It's gonna be awesome to see him out there. He's just looked incredible in batting practice, so it's gonna be fun to see him take that out onto the field.

I think it's going to be awesome. I don't think there's any other way to put it. Emotions will be running high. All the guys in this clubhouse know what we have, and other people are starting to pay attention, so we'll just have to go out and prove it.

It's so fan-friendly. It looks nice, it's a great idea. From last year, I know there were a lot of problems in the upper deck, and I don't know how good those seats could even be. This brings the fans close to the field, and we'll be able to interact more with them.

Let's get those left-field bleacher boys ready to go. I had a great time in right last year, but left field is where it's always been.

It's disappointing. We've been playing good baseball.

That's a huge sign for me, when I hit the ball out to left field. That gives me a lot of confidence. You just let the pitch dictate what you do. That's something you never see the great players do, over-swing -- I do that, I over-swing. Tonight, I didn't feel like I was swinging hard, just nice and easy.

All you have to do is look at the back of his baseball card and know he'll be all right.
