It's a tough week for us because of the 3 o'clock games in the afternoon, which makes it tough on the kids academically.

I think their coach made a good decision. The umpire went and talked to him and he was in complete agreement. Their players were saying their hamstrings were hurting from running in the grass and he didn't want to lose anybody.

We're starting to peak at the right time. We peaked last year in the last month of the season. We've played our best baseball these last two weekends. If we can continue to improve then we've got a shot to play for something special here at the end.

We showed a lot of composure and maturity, and for Morrison to make two great defensive plays after that and then hit that crucial two-run double to put us ahead, speaks volumes about how he is trying to grow as a player.

Marks was really special. I thought he was the key. Those three zeroes gave us a chance to get to their bullpen a little bit. I thought that was the difference in the game.

It's the first time he has struggled this year. It happens to everybody. It happens to Mariano Rivera a few times during the course of the season as well. I'm glad he was able to gut his way out of it. And thank goodness we put that four-spot up in the bottom of the eight, or it could have gotten really interesting.

We got to win the series and give ourselves a chance to get back to .500 next weekend and then we'll be fine from there.

We had out best guy going. I pay them a great compliment. They played hard today, played well defensively and put some good swings on the ball. They beat one of the best guys in the Big 12 Conference today.
