We invented a golf cart that puts less pressure on the ground than a human being walking. We found a way to equally distribute the weight, between 5 and 6 pounds per square inch, so the cart can go literally anywhere on the greens.

On a golf course, there's always an area set aside for people in wheelchairs. I started reading the Americans (With) Disabilities Act, and found out there are specifics for handicapped parking, but nothing about a golf course.

We were looking for design engineers to design the body of this cart. I had the idea; I just didn't know how to make the cart's shell.

The SoloRider has the potential to assist many of the approximately 54 million disabled Americans. Off-course uses have included hunting, fishing and accessing hiking trails and beaches for people who would otherwise be limited to a wheelchair, which cannot traverse rough ground.

These enhancements to the car reflect our ongoing commitment to make SoloRider the industry's best-performing, most comfortable and stable single-rider golf car. Many of these changes have been in development for more than a year and were made as a result of customer feedback.
