Something broke in the right front, ... I'm not sure what it was. It was a great effort for our Alltel Dodge guys. We picked up speed, and we're doing the right things. Something just happened, and I don't know what it was. That's part of it. We've struggled this year. This is a good opportunity to prove that we can do better.

Going into Texas, I look forward to going back as the defending winner, but that doesn't mean a whole lot when it comes to different teams and another opportunity to win the race. I just look forward to that as well as the IROC race.

I think he's got a great attitude. He's very much like me in that he's sarcastic. Some sarcastic people get it, and other people think it's cocky.

I think part of it humbled him, and I think part of it aggravated him.

We'll see then how we communicate. That's gonna determine our relationship.
