We talked about everything. From football to girlfriends, to any type of problem he was having in school or on the team. He was really shaping up into a fine young man.

He was going to be the glue in that offensive line.

(Florida coach Urban Meyer ) was here to see him last Thursday. Florida State called (Monday). They didn't offer but they wanted film. He's so fast. That's what separates him. He moves his feet as well as anybody on the team. Then, he has all the size.

I had three games of film on Lance to get clips to recruiters. Three games are not enough for anyone to go on, but they were very good games for him.

The program has grown not only statewide, but nationwide. Our facility is not close to where the program is. (A new facility) is something that has to be accomplished if we want to keep up with other teams in the state.

I have around 160 kids I could work out, but I can't because of the facility. Our facility now can only accommodate 80. I have to take the top 80 players and turn the rest away.

We felt confident that we were going to play a good game. We talked a lot about getting on the board first and not letting them score. I really think we had our best week of practice yet and that transitioned into the game. We're getting better each week.

We have to get up for every team we play. Our focus now is to win a state championship. Yeah, we want to get back at Hillsborough, but we see the big picture and that is to win games,

I have to find ways to keep these guys hungry week after week.
