If special teams can play close (to this game) the rest of the season, we'd be ok.

From this point on should be a major stretch from here on out. One of the goals that I have is that we need a few more guys to step up because we will have those injuries where a player will be out for a week to three weeks.

There are four or five young guys who feel they can help us in some areas. One guy that looked awfully good to me helping us on special teams is (sophomore wide receiver) George Hill, he looks like he has a knack for things.

Bell was better today than he was last week. He has stamina. He have been able to play another quarter if there was one to play.

Kyle Bell looks like he can run the football. I think he can turn some of his runs, if it is blocked well, into touchdowns.

We have a nice healthy respect for them. We've had some good games with them. They don't let you away from teams because they are a ball-control team. If they get a two-touchdown lead, that's a lock for them.

Man, we got to get out of here.

Justin knows that we all have confidence in him as coaches and players, ... Quarterbacks are going to have some adversity and when it happens, they have to be tough enough to fight through it. There's no question in our minds that Justin is tough enough.

In my opinion, Justin Holland is as good a quarterback as there is around,

We've struggled to stop the run all year. We really didn't get in a rhythm offensively until late in the game. They sacked us more than we've been sacked all season in this game.

Defensively we had trouble stopping the running game. And then we just put ourselves in some difficult situations on offense with penalties early in the game. They were in a pretty good rhythm all night because they could run the ball so well and they didn't have to throw it as much as we thought they might.

I guess if you don't like it, stop it.

It got to be kind of a wild game. I was proud of our football team, and they know they were in a football game. We gave them everything they could handle. We're going to be a damn good football team, and we proved it out there. We can move it; we can stop it. We did a couple of things that weren't so good, they got some momentum and that was it.

Like they said in the old days, we got an old-fashioned butt-kicking. You have to give a lot of credit to Minnesota. We knew coming in they were a big, strong football team, and they sure proved it to us.

I thought early on the kids played so damn hard. I thought we had confidence; guys were playing. You can't go out there all day. Sooner or later, they're going to break a couple on you, and they hit a couple at the end.
