We really enjoy bringing old clocks back to life. These clocks often have a lot of sentimental value to their owners. Sometimes they got them from parents or relatives who are no longer living.

Our name has been around for quite a while now.

Rent always is going up, and when the economy is bad, as it has been, people don't buy as many new clocks. People are also buying new clocks on the Internet now.

We have a very good following, our house is easy to find, and people are more accepting of home-based business these days.

It really started out as a hobby. We both like antiques, and antique clocks especially, and when something didn't work he would figure it out. We started doing repairs for family and friends, and fixing antique clocks. There was so much work coming to us that we thought we'd try it as a business. It seemed like there was really a need for it. It's a lost art.

Clock shops will send things to us, and we get customers who were told by other repair businesses that their clocks weren't worth fixing. That goes back to the clock's sentimental value. In that case, we give an estimate and then let the customer decide if they want to repair it or not.

If the right space came along we would get another retail spot.
