We have a chance to make history. We can't settle for anything less than going in there and winning it.

If we break it right we'll get a lot of easy buckets. So we know we have to come in with that mindset of being aggressive offensively.

It's going to be fun and maybe if we get after them early they'll come out of that style. So we definitely have to be the aggressors from the start. We've seen presses before and done well against them. I think we match up evenly with them. They have a couple of great shooters and a big guy, but we have that too, so it's just basically the press.

I'm not worried about it. I'm sure Farley will change a lot of his shots to get him in a mindset of blocking every shot that goes up and then that big guy will think twice about going in there.

It got a little rough out there. But we're scratching to get back to New York, and we were going to do what we have to.

If you go into the NCAA and lose a game, then the season's over and there's no momentum built into the next year. You can say you went to the tournament, but you lost in the first round. But now you can say we have a chance to go to New York and win a championship, so guys can feel good about it.

It's not for me, it's for years to come. This is a springboard for next year.

At least I can say I was part of it. It's always a start. Like Reece Gaines when he left (in 2002) and it led to the Final Four. I look at it that way. Maybe for years to come, this leads to a national championship.

After the loss to Pittsburgh in New York we were disappointed. But we put our heads together and realized we had an opportunity to win some type of championship. You work that hard in the off-season and come away with nothing, you'd feel like it was a waste of time. We still have a championship we can reach for and we're going to do that. We've still got games to play, so it feels good to keep playing. We figure we might as well try to win it. You don't go into something and go halfway with it.

Honestly, I was so mentally and emotionally drained. I had mixed emotions about (the NIT) but at the same time it's my last year. I never want to stop playing college basketball.

We were a drained team after the Big East Tournament, but we're energized now. There's only one championship we have a chance to win, and that's this one. What we're doing right now is a springboard to the future for this program. There are guys in this locker room who will win a national championship, and that can all start right here.

This was my last game in Freedom Hall and I didn't want to burn out. I wanted to come out firing. I knew we had to be aggressive right away.

That guy ... to rebound like that on one leg is amazing. I figured it would come with him trusting his knee. He just goes all out, ignoring the pain. You've got to tip your hat to a guy like that because he's never been down once.

Our pride was hurt the last time we played there. We remember the feeling coming back to Louisville after losing to Pittsburgh, so we definitely wanted to go back and give a better performance. Can you imagine your career ending with a game like Pittsburgh?

Being Senior Night, it was a weird feeling and the greatest feeling in the world at the same time. I never did feel comfortable out there. But I'm the type of player who if things aren't going well, I'll find some way to contribute by playing defense and rebounding. And if there's a big shot to be taken, I'll take it.
