What we're concerned about now is that these recommendations more than four years after 9/11 are still not being done. People are not paying attention to them.

We've had some of this money spent to air condition garbage trucks. We've had some of the money spent for armor for dogs. This money is being distributed as if it's general revenue sharing.

While the terrorists are learning and adapting, our government is still moving at a crawl.

People ought to stay out of our business.

It is a scandal in our minds.

Hurricane Katrina pointed out continuing serious flaws in our emergency preparedness and response. And this was frustrating to us.

We shouldn't need another wake-up call. We believe that the terrorists will strike again; so does every responsible expert that we have talked to. And if they do, and these reforms that might have prevented such an attack have not been implemented, what will our excuse be?
