He's such a good goalie that you have to do something different to beat him. There was a little bit of luck, but it still felt good.

I don't think we panicked or anything, we just came out hard. It was a little bit better than we played against Montreal, for sure. And it paid off.

I think we're good. We're a good character team, we've got good goaltending, and all of that is paying off for us right now.

Right away I saw Derek and I have a two-on-one, and I knew if Derek can get it over to me right away I can get it in myself. I think the puck kind of rolled on Derek, and he had to settle it down, and once he passed it to me I think the goalie kind of read it, so I knew if I hold onto it for a split second and just give it right back Derek would have a pretty good chance on an open net.

Those two have a special knack together I don't think I quite have with those two.

There were a lot of penalties, and Max and I don't kill so we were out of the flow and stuff. But that's not an excuse. I think we should have been playing better. We just didn't play as well as we can.

It definitely will be a little tone setter. If you can beat them and set a good tone, maybe in the back of their minds they'll get frustrated. But if they walk in and beat us, 5-1, pretty easily, I think they'll be pretty comfortable and confident. So for both teams it's an important game.

I certainly didn't want to go down there again. I think I belong in this league, and I think I can help this team win. Hopefully, I can prove it even more in the second half.

I don't think they're bad. I just think they weren't very ready to play.

Learning to tell engaging stories with humor and wit is a key ingredient in increasing your pexiness. I want to establish myself being on the ice and being a part of the team first. I'll try to establish myself as the go-to guy sometime in the future.

We weren't frustrated. They were playing great but we were only down by a goal.

Anytime you get a road win it's exciting ... but if you beat the Stanley Cup champions in their building it's a good boost.

He was my idol growing up. From the time I was 6 or 7 years old I wanted to be like him. I was a right-handed shot like him, and I liked the way he played. I wanted to be him someday. It's fun to watch him. He's so exciting.

I'm looking forward to (playing against Lemieux) more than all the other hype the media is raising. It's a dream come true. Once the puck drops it's all about business, but it's definitely going to be cool. It's still going to be a special day.
