He's a good player. I'm really disappointed on the way we guarded their entire team, but he was definitely the catalyst when they jumped out.

He's a good basketball player, certainly he played very well this afternoon. I think that he was the catalyst that allowed them to get such a big lead early.

He struggled tremendously and obviously with some of the personnel that we have right now if he's not going to score well it's going to be tough for us. It started off early that he didn't make a few shots and it didn't get better from there.

I'm hoping he's going to respond in the correct manner, and so far he has. I've always thought of every moment as a teaching moment. Unfortunately, sometimes teaching moments have to come in some adverse situations and circumstances.

This is a tremendously positive day for the University of Michigan and our basketball program. We are so appreciative of the news we received. I am thrilled for the young men on our team, and I believe they truly deserve this opportunity.

We need senior play right now, whatever that is. That doesn't just mean or equate to offensive play.

We're thrilled. This certainly puts us in position (for an NCAA bid) with a signature win around the country. We recognize how good Illinois has been over the last few years.

I thought (Horton) played tremendous defense. We had to. I can't tell you how talented and quick Dee Brown is. ... You have to be disciplined, you have to be tough, you have to be a little lucky.

His courage, the way he put us on his back offensively, was outstanding. You saw him will his shots in. You saw him will us to a victory.
