Dallas took the test this morning. We're waiting for the results. We'll probably know when we get to the airport. He plans on making the trip. We'll see how the test results shake out.

Marlin is still the same. He improved a little bit. There's a chance he could play. Probably without practice, it's just hard to say.

We're obviously happy for Mike. I don't know what the league's rationale is on it, but I'm sure they looked at all the facts and that's what they decided to. It's really out of our hands and we've just decided to be thankful for whatever happens.

Dwight sat out of practice but we think he's going to be fine and ready to play. He's got a little foot soreness, not really a sprain but just a sore foot. But all indications are he should be ready to go. So we just wanted to rest him today.

This was the day we would going to evaluate [the shoulder]. [Jackson is] probably doubtful at this point.

Those look to be the two toughest ones.

It's funny how systems just seem to be made for guys to show what they can do. Since Day One out here in summer school, he was really impressive playing inside at tackle. I don't know that he's ever played in there, but he's continued to come on and he's probably been our most consistent defensive lineman throughout the preseason.

Brian knows how to get his teams ready to win, and he's going to play to his strengths,

If they have (tight end) Todd Heap back full time, they'll use him. He'll use his personnel really well and get the ball to those guys in places so they can be effective with it.

Our defense had to play well until we figured out the looks they were going to give us. We just had to hang in there.

[-- Dungy on Jacksonville rookie WR Matt Jones -] He gives them a different look when he's in there, ... They'll use him a lot like Pittsburgh does Antwaan Randle El. He'll line up all over the field and they'll try and find different ways to get him the ball and different ways to use him in their offense.

Field position was very important in that game and punting them back up inside the 10 several times was critical. It was good to see that rewarded.

We've got a tough group. You have to do something special to get a game ball from them, but (Smith) did a great job.

It's hard to double three guys. You know you're going to get at least one of those guys in single coverage. Some teams have two good corners. Very few have three. So where's the favorable matchup?

Jack Tatum had it. Donnie Shell had it. John Lynch has it. Guys having striking ability. Bob Sanders has it in a small body, so it's not necessarily size.
