You're trying to prioritize how to spend your money, and everybody faces it.

You do the best you can. You can't script these games. Yesterday was there were two outs, so he didn't have to run the bases. It was the seventh inning -- there could have been a better opportunity in the ninth, but you don't know.

Well, I bet if they had their hand on a bible, they'll tell you they don't think we're really good because they beat us four out of seven, so I hope we throw out the regular season. We saw them play well, and they play well enough to win a championship, and that's really what counts. They're in the tournament.

He fits in. One of the things we believe about our club is we have a bunch of guys who are prime-timers, who are not afraid to take big at-bats.

It makes it a lot more personal, ... I mean, whoever you're facing, you know professionally what's at stake. But when you face a guy who's been such a great teammate, we have experienced so much together, it makes it a lot more personal.
