en I want to solicit and invite every parent, every concerned citizen, and every Christian to come out and protest against the unfairness of the school system and school board to support our teachers and children.

en It smacks of unfairness. School board members don't come into the hearing with a clean and open mind. Their bias is to support the superintendent. School boards hire superintendents, and they tend to want to support the guy they brought in.

en Ms Anderson rightfully is a concerned parent. She's concerned for the safety of her children and other children at the school. This was improper conduct at the school and it's the kind of conduct that goes way beyond the bounds of decency.

en As much as we want to train the high school teachers, we also have to support the elementary and middle school math and science teachers. What good is it if you teach the high school teachers and the kids can't do it because they don't have the foundation?

en Let the county school system pay for these other schools' flashing lights. This is our charter school. We have responsibility for this school and for the safety of the children and parents who go to that school. I see no reason why we can't extend beyond the guidelines.

en Two point nine million dollars to the school system will help accomplish some small projects. It will not build a brand new school. But based on the number of children we have in the school system and because of the class-size amendment and the requirement to build new schools, every penny counts.

en To work together with the rest of the school board we can make a lot of accomplishments regarding our administration and all of our teachers throughout the school district.

en I'm a single parent. I have to work to support my family. Thanks to this program, I don't have to worry about where my child is after school and what he is doing. I know he's safe, happy and best of all, doing better in school.
