You have two guys who, when you put them on the low post, both demand a double team and they pass the ball, which means you can get good open shots with no one contesting. And when they don't do that, both of them draw a lot of fouls. We should be able to get to the foul line a lot.

We wish (Ware played) 30 or 35 minutes (instead of 21) because we were trying to go through him every single possession. To draw that double team and kick it out and get some open shots, or to dribble through the double team and try to score.

To me, he's probably the best scorer in the league. Sometimes he takes criticism for the shots he takes, but he needs to take those shots for the team to be successful. He needs a low-post player. We joke all the time that we could play together. He's a guy who's going to make a low-post player better, and vice versa.

We had a bad offensive game. We had a lot of good open looks and we didn't make them. We had really good open shots and it's normally the strength of our team, but when you combine Katie Douglas, Nykesha Sales, and Lindsay Whalen shooting 5-for-30 between the three of them, it's hard to win. They're the best team...the best five players overall in the Shoreline. I made the comment before...I don't think there are any spectacular talents on that team but as a team they do everything very well. They set screens, they execute their offense, they defend and they make open shots.

They sent the first double team at him, he settled down, got patient, kicked it out and got a 3, and that really got him going I think. When his 3-point shots go in, he's a great player, and he scored some tough baskets in the post to keep out lead up.

They're a great shooting team. A lot of those shots were contested. They're going to find the open man, and then everybody they throw it to can make the shot.

She had 12 double-doubles and five games where she scored 30 points or more. She set the school record with 41 points against Shadow Mountain. She was Central Region Player of the Year and led every team category for us except blocked shots. She did everything possible to help this team do as well as it did. She's such a really good team player.

I think it's going to be an improvement for our team, putting me out there on the wing, getting more shots. That's what I've been working on all summer, not just to take shots but to make shots, and knowing that this team is (relying) on me to produce.
