I've known Jason since ordtak

I've known Jason since he was about 18, and he got in touch with me through our mutual friend Phil Carson, who I knew when he was an executive at Atlantic Records, Foreigner's original label.

The relationship with Atlantic Records was always a personal one. Our friend and mentor, Ahmet Ertegun, was our main contact at Atlantic and our relationship was based on mutual respect. He is a fine musician, singer and producer.

After the compilation came out, a friend of mine brought over a CD. It was the Rod MacDonald original. My version doesn't sound anything like the original. I think if I had heard the original, I wouldn't have thought to do the song. It is very different. I haven't heard from Rod. I hope he isn't offended.
