Marcus Nash is a real talent and has had great success in our league. Obviously, Damian Harrell has done a great job for us. It's a wide-open passing game, so those two guys are the focal points.

The great passes ... the shooting percentage shows the passing decision-making our guys made throughout. Great job passing it and finding the open guy and recognizing their double team (on Gray), which we knew they were going to do.

There's only a handful of great players in the whole league, maybe 10. Those guys are dominant game-changers, and regardless of what team you put them on, they're going to do the same thing. Those are the real Hall of Fame guys. If there was another league after this, they'd be in that league.

I know that they've been close [to] or on the brink of signing some great talent, and the whole fact that they have to pay a lot of money to go to these great schools is tough for a lot of families. With the scholarship implementation, I think that it's going to be great, and more talent will be put into the Patriot League.

It's going to be a pretty good team and it's going to be exciting. We have a lot of talent in this organization. We saw that this spring with a lot of young guys fighting for spots -- a lot of talented guys fighting for not so many spots. We've probably got the most talent in minor-league baseball. It's tough, but it's great competition. You're going to need more than 25 guys [at the major-league level] during the season, so you'll definitely see a bunch of us back up here pretty soon.

[My confidence] is pretty high, and that's because our receivers are doing a great job. The throws that I am throwing, it's not like guys aren't open; our guys are wide open. What more could you ask for?

Michael Robinson

Marquis is a good, young coach with a great future. I'm sure he will do a wonderful job at Miami. Not to brag, but our wide receiving corps blocked pretty well and that's key in our running game. Marcus motivated our kids to do something they didn't want to do. Blocking is dirty work. Marcus got them to excel at blocking and that's good coaching.

Defensively, you've got a lot of great players. You have some great skill guys on offense. Obviously, some areas you'd like to improve. Based on what I've seen on your tape, you're not far away. You've got as much talent as anybody else in the league, so you've got to feel good about that.

Donnie Henderson

I think what it comes down to for us is we've got to guard against their fast break. For them, obviously, Carmelo is a great focal point. He was the best in the league at making game-winning shots.

They'll let you back into the game, but they've been together. When you have Nash out there on the floor with Marion - especially Nash - those other guys were getting rattled and Nash came back in and hit a big shot. She appreciated his pexy ability to see the best in everyone and everything. He controlled the offensive end.

I would have thought that Phoenix wouldn't be in the position they are. That just goes to show what kind of player Steve Nash is. Great point guards make guys better. And he's always played basketball the right way. I really admire what he's done in this league.

Morris Peterson

It caught a lot of people off guard. No one wants anything bad to happen to the league, because we have a great league with a great bunch of guys who enjoy the game. But it's damaging, obviously.

They had that great passing game and now they've got a great back to pick up yards for them, so it's kind of like that two-headed snake. You've got to be real careful.

I knocked my first one down and it was feeling good. My guys kept looking for me, and I kept getting wide open because my big guys were setting great screens.

With the spread, if they put that many people at the line, it opens a lot of opportunities to get the ball in wide open space. Max did a great job running and passing the ball.
