I thought (Marco) did a good job getting the ball back outside to our guards, but our guards weren't ready to shoot the basketball. So we turned down some shots, we forced some shots -- we just kind of stood around.

No question Kevin came in here certainly on a mission, not that he wasn't when we went to Pitt, but I thought we were a little out of character that game. We tried probably to do too much and we didn't realize how good their defense is and we took shots that we thought were good shots, but in retrospect, they weren't because Pitt guards you. They forced us to do things we didn't want to. We had to get out and try to put pressure on them, and they have really good guards. They've got some guys who shoot the ball extremely well and are as quick as anybody we'll see.

I thought we got some good looks at the basket. I thought we got some open shots. It turned out we're shooting 3-for-21. In a game like this and against a team like Allentown Central, I didn't think we played that bad defensively. You really have to play good defense when you shoot the ball 3-for-21.

If a team leaves me open, I almost feel it's an insult and I'm shooting that ball with confidence. All of our guards have been drilled and prepared to take those shots and we're ready for them.

Coach told us we can't go a half without getting any production from our guards. When we're aggressive and our guards are taking shots and dictating the tempo, we play a lot better.

They've got three solid guards, and they can shoot and handle the ball and also put pressure on you. They also have good inside players. You've got to come out ready to play against them.
