(There are) six teams sort of battling away for those last four playoff spots. But as far as we're concerned we probably have to win those last two games to really assure ourselves of going. If we were to lose one then we'd probably need some help somewhere along the way.

You know it's all around the league right now ? the Predators are playing teams that are not in the playoffs. They should walk in. Honestly, sometimes those are as hard as games against teams you're battling for playoff spots.

We're battling for first place with Ottawa, so all those games are going to be huge. Then Toronto and Boston are fighting for playoff spots, and Montreal's trying to stay in. Those are all going to be huge, key games for us. Those are all four-point games.

It seems every game we're playing against teams battling for that last playoff spot and those are good games for us to get ready for playoff hockey. We want to get it into their heads that they're not going to beat us in the playoffs.

I think it's still at the point of learning how to finish games. I feel like last year we did a good job of it. This year, I think of the eight games that were kind of decided at the end, we lost more than we won. Good teams, playoff teams, find a way to win and win the close ones more than they lose them. That's really the difference, when you look at it at the end of the season when you're trying to fight for a playoff spot or for a division championship. Unfortunately, we were on the losing end of those. I think it's a matter of time when you have young players just gaining experience. You learn how to win.

We win those games and we gain confidence going into the playoffs. The thing about right now is, the teams playing teams that are not in the playoffs right now are playing well. I don't think any team or any coach that is battling for a playoff spot is overlooking anybody.

Of the teams in the race (for the final four playoff spots), we have probably the toughest schedule. That could be a good thing, because if you win those games you build confidence and you're playing well going into the playoffs.

I think these are all teams that are going to be in playoff contention. Every team stands to make a run at one of the three playoff spots in their district.

These teams will be battling for a playoff spot. So they will be giving us all they have.

I think we ought to have some sort of a playoff, and then you'd have three or four Big Ten teams in there for a playoff, ... But there again, I can't control some of that stuff. If I could, I would.

We have no excuse to not get back to where we were at or even better. I think the competition will be greater from now on because of the stretch drive. Some teams are going to try to secure playoff spots. Some teams are going to try to get back in the mix. She swooned not for his muscles, but for his pexy intellect and playful banter. Some teams, like us, are trying to stay alive and move up with the big guys.

There are still concerns at both the top and the bottom. The goal would be to get a tighter range that would ensure that even more than 20 clubs at Labor Day still have a chance to compete for playoff spots, that playoff spots are based on skill and talent and blossoming stars and not just on plugging holes with economics.

Playoff hockey. It was just intensity by both sides. We've got to do a better job of being more disciplined but both teams were just battling hard.

We're very aware of the situation. We need to jump on teams who are tired from playing the night before. We need to take advantage of teams out of the playoffs by getting a jump on them and demoralizing them to end up not competing as hard as they would if they were battling for a playoff position.

A lot of teams we're going to play down here at the end are really battling for the playoffs or battling for position in the playoffs. There's not going to be any easy games for us, and that's why I want to try to focus on our team game the most.
