They gave it up tonight, but they've been consistent.

en We talked about having a big inning. They said this is our inning, we're going to do it this inning. We told them you've got to go out and prove it, don't just say it. en We couldn't do much right. When we hit the ball hard it was right at them, and sometimes that happens. They did very well in that first inning, they hit the ball well and drew a couple of walks and had a big run lead, and we weren't able to come back.

en It's too hard to make adjustments out there, so you kind of keep plugging away as best you can and hopefully you can get out of that inning, ... Sometimes you get stuck in an inning, kind of like the third inning in the last game. I couldn't get out of it. That's what I've always been able to do, is work through an inning.

en He threw the ball well. He just couldn't get out of that inning.
