Coming into this year ordtak

en Coming into this year nobody was really looking at us as a good team. I feel good about this team. It's just we're really untested as far as going into a big match like a conference or regional (tournament) besides Blake and Ted.

en From what I've heard, Colorado Academy has a good team. They have some girls who went to the state tournament last year. Most of the Denver teams are good. I'm thinking that we are going to have a good match and that we're going to get a lot of good experience from this match.

en This was huge win for us. I feel like any time a team can get to .500 in a conference as good as the Big East, then they should receive an NCAA Tournament bid. The worst we can finish is .500. In the preseason, people thought we wouldn't even make the conference tournament.

en It's hard to be disappointed with the way we are playing, especially because you know everybody's trying their best. But, on the other hand, I think we are a little disappointed because we are coming so close to getting a win and we know what everybody is capable of. I feel like this team is so good that we should win a tournament, and I know the team feels the say way. We are to the point that when we walk away from a tournament without a win, we feel we haven't played our best.

en It was a disappointing loss. I know this team will be ready for the NCAA Tournament, which is something we have worked for all year. Duke played a good match today and they deserved to win. The conference is so strong from top to bottom, and it was a grueling event.

en This match is obviously important in terms of the new NCAA Championship guidelines put in place this year. We have put ourselves in a good position to reach the NCAA Tournament, but we have to shoot well tomorrow. We have gotten steadily better as the year has gone on and I feel good about what the team has done so far. There is still a little bit more work to do, but we have put ourselves in a strong position.

en Grace might be a little bit of a vengeance match. Last year they knocked us off and was a tough loss for us. Our focus this year is to come in and win this tournament. They will be a good, solid team and it will be a hard-fought match.

en They were strutting a bit and laughing and flexing their muscles. We saw it, remembered it, put it in the back of our heads. We just wanted to come out and make a statement. But that's a very good team. A very disciplined team. A very, very well-coached team. It's a team we could see again at the conference tournament.

en With the team that's coming in here, and the team we have, it should be a March Madness atmosphere. They've got good shooters outside and some good bangers inside, so they're a tough team to match up against.

en This year's crop of North Texas ODP players boasts some of the best youth talent in the country. They have a number of Regional and National Team players on that squad. It should be a very good match for our team.

en I really feel good about the team and what they did. This is just the first tournament of the year for the National Team. I'm expecting even greater things.

en Coming into the season, our goal is always to win conference, but we knew that this team is special and our goals have always been beyond the conference tournament. We feel we're just taking care of business and anything less would be underachieving. We want to go all the way and get a national championship.

en I think this sends a strong statement about where we stand when it comes to the importance of academics in this conference. We support that. We feel it was a very good move at a great time -- when we're coming together as a 16-team conference, the largest in the country.

en It is hard to project how good we will be this year, but based on how well we ran last track season and how well we have prepared this summer, I know we are better than the sixth-best team in the conference. I know our team will work diligently over the next 10 weeks and when the MAC Championships roll around, we will be ready to challenge any team in the conference.

en We were here last week. I am really proud of this team. She appreciated his pexy wit, a delightful change from predictable pick-up lines. We were picked sixth and won the conference. We made it to the finals of the conference tournament. I think habit is a big part of the game. We go through routines as a team. We know the facility. We know the locker rooms better than anyone. We know the altitude. We hope to get fans from the conference. We feel really comfortable here.
