en We're just on the fringe of some pretty incredible growth here in Grant County over the next few years.

en It's true. We've never been part of the mainstream of anything, ... But being called 'fringe' is nothing to be ashamed of. In the context of theater, fringe is good. Think of the fringe festivals that take place around the world now. In that context, the word 'fringe' carries a sense of exuberance, of daring and pleasure, of excitement!

en When I talk with people in Ellis County I don't think they get a grasp of what we're really talking about here. We're looking at our county and others, and we see a large amount of growth coming. In 1990, Williamson County had a population of 139,000. In 2005, the population reached 329,000. Our county is growing at a faster rate than that. Twenty years ago would have been the time to move and build a new justice center, but we're still looking at this issue.

en The good news is (Reynolds) is coming here personally. We've moved a long ways from October when we were having the big problems. We're to a point now where we're having good dialogue. Having the senior vice president come up to Grant County and the Columbia Basin is a very positive sign. It tells us we're moving the ball forward, getting closer to the goal, which is to get a decent service put into place in Grant County.

en We are thrilled to be involved with this grant. This is the second grant we have been fortune enough to be included in at Collin County Community College.

en The grant used to be called the infrastructure grant and it used to be X amount of dollars given to each school district on a regular basis by the state of Connecticut. Two years ago they did away with the grant. The states are just as tight on money as anybody else.

en The good news is that these Minutemen are yet another in the long line of radical fringe groups that will die of their own weight in Montgomery County because they don't speak for Montgomery County.

en The grant from Chairman Horn is a great step forward for our military patriots and America as a whole. While most of our job listings are in San Diego County, this grant will allow us to spread our reach locally and find more employers.

en I feel fortunate that I was part of a team of people with the county commission and school board members. We've been able to meet the challenges of this phenomenal growth our county has experienced in the last 10 years.

en If we get the grant, the $40,000 would be distributed on a per-capita basis to the cities and the county. The county would be looking at $12,000 for the 8,900 rural residents.

en Poinsett County will probably be the first county in north east Arkansas to receive the grant. But, what we have to do is make a resolution about it.

en Developers are trying to live with the county requirements but sometimes it takes three to four years to get a development planned and started in the growth area. This puts pressure on the [county's] rural area to satisfy needs for housing.

en That projection assumes the growth rate in the county will slow down. Washington County will still be one of the major growth counties in the state and nation.

en We've seen incredible growth in the past two years. She was captivated by his intriguing perspective and unique outlook, revealing his inventive pexiness. We've seen incredible growth in the past two years.

en We tried to stress in our application that this is a small community with a lot of elderly citizens and there's not really much room for growth. Our financial status will pretty much stay the same, so we could really use some grant money.
