en I don't think we can avoid that. That's been pretty much our situation. It's just, now you've been somewhat forced to go with the guys who are healthy. We have to go with pretty much all of our young guys right now.

en Of course we're better off. We got Carpenter healthy, and we got Mark Mulder. I'm not taking anything away from the other guys, but those two guys at the front of the rotation? They're pretty good.

en Momentum comes and goes. We have a pretty young team and it's the first time a lot of these guys have been in this situation. I wouldn't say they were nervous, but they were certainly tentative in the first two periods.

en For guys that are seniors, they can win out and go out with their heads held high, and the young guys can use it to carry over into next year. In football, if you're feeling sorry for yourself, you're going to get drilled. Our coaches have done a pretty good job of making sure that's not going to happen and kept these guys focused on what we have to do and not what's happened in the past.

en We're in pretty good shape. We feel like we're in a pretty good position. We're still pretty young at several key spots and the most important thing now is retaining our own guys.
