en We are sharing the ball very well right now. Our guys are taking good shots for our team. Gary (Robinson) and James (Perkins) have really helped by giving us an inside-outside threat. We just want to keep working hard every day and focus on improving as a team.

en I think you'll see them in more of a flow this game. We'll have better chemistry. As far as working those guys in, hopefully, it can do wonders for our team as far as taking care of the ball with two seniors back and then get good shots on offense and be a better defensive team as well.

en We had 10 guys go Division I from our team and Quick is on the team here. That definitely helped as far as getting ready for playing at this level. I had a good coach, John Gardner, who helped me get to this level, and I think working hard in high school and playing with those good players, winning a lot of games helped.

en We definitely wanted to get the ball inside. But the thing is that we had the shots to take, but we just didn't take them. We weren't taking jump shots period. That's something that we'll address in practice, but hats off to Hampton. We lost to a good team.

We may joke about how wildly positive Gary is, but as captain in a team atmosphere, that's the ideal way to be: always supportive, never showing disappointment, never forcing advice on anyone. en We're really playing as a team right now. We're starting to play to our strengths. Guys who handle the ball are handling the ball. Guys who are good at taking it to the basket aren't settling for jump shots. We're rebounding well, too.

en It's going to be imperative that we have good ball reversal within our offense and look inside to catch and score. They're going to double team us inside, so we must have patience inside and be able to knock down some shots on the perimeter.

Now that they have a great inside threat, he keeps you very accountable. And they share the ball very well. They move the ball to the open man and take horse shots. They have good, solid shooters and they shoot good shots.

en After two hard losses, the Green team came out ready to play. They did a great job playing team ball and running the offense against a zone. We came out and hit some outside shots that really helped boost our confidence.

en John came in as skipper in Rio and has had a careful look at all aspects of our campaign. The team has gained much from his input and will benefit from his continued involvement. I will be happy to take over as skipper again after the in-port race. We are very fortunate to attract such talented new sailors to the team and I very much look forward to working with them. We will work hard to keep on improving, and hope that our results will reflect the team's true potential. We will certainly keep on giving it all our energy.

en He's a threat, he can play. His success has helped us as a team. He's been getting in the paint, he's been getting guys a lot of wide-open shots and he's been getting easy buckets. He can shoot the three and he doesn't take many bad shots, so when you have a point guard who can do all those things and create on the offensive side you can do a lot of things.

en When you have four other guys and you've got a good pitcher going out every night giving a good performance, giving the team a chance to win a ballgame, it says a lot. It says a whole lot. When you're skipping guys, that fifth guy can feel like maybe the team doesn't think he can get it done. But it's not like that with this team. And I think that means a lot.

en We've started taking care of the ball in the last couple weeks. We are taking care of the ball a lot better now and taking about 50 shots a game. That number is way up from our earlier games. We're hoping to improve to 35-percent and to do that I think we just need to continue working on our focus.

en People always try to focus on the inside part of our game. When you have guys like Ronald stepping up and hitting perimeter shots, it opens up everything else because they have to stretch their defense and play the perimeter. It widens the lane. It helps the big men out tremendously. The way he's been shooting the ball, it's been helping our team dramatically.

en He's working hard for it. He's drawing the other team's best defender every night. He's making sure he's taking quality shots and making good decisions.
