en We're going to have to play a road game in the state playoffs, and that's the type of team we're going to have to beat.

en We're a good road team, and we have to go out and win a road game. That would make a big statement. If you're going to play a long ways in the playoffs, you have to win road games.

en Everybody has zero wins and zero losses. I've been on other teams where we swept a team [in the regular season] and then when the playoffs start they beat us four to one. Playoffs are a different game. I don't really think too much about who we play. You just have a team you are facing and you just need to win the games.

en We are going to approach it like any other game, if we play our type of basketball I don't think anyone can beat us, were going to play a team game and hopefully that brings us out on top.

en That's a heck of a team we played tonight. Unselfish, 21 assists in 29 baskets. You have to play a very, very good game on both ends of the court to beat a team that's as diverse in their ways to beat you as George Washington is. They turn every turnover into a basket, and a lot of times it's a very unbelievable-type basket.

en It shows we can beat a quality team. Our ability to play well against N.C. State, hopefully, will give us some confidence going into the Florida State game.

en When you come head-to-head with those kind of teams and beat them, then you get the feeling that you can take yourself up a couple of notches on the totem pole. Right now, I think we're a team that can make the playoffs if we stay healthy and continue to play the type of basketball we're playing.

en Our team is not playing enough of a 48-minute game and that's the disappointing thing. We know it's tough to win road games. This was a hot team team we were playing, give them credit. But you can't play 18-20 minutes of a second half and expect to beat any NBA team.

en That's a team that went on the road and beat Arizona State and beat us bad down there and I'm happy with the win. I can criticize us after every win but at the end of the day that's a good win for us.

en Knowing we can go out on the road and play in a hostile environment like this and play to the end ... a game like this has to help us. We've played well on the road, and we'll be at home Thursday, which is good, but if we get by Maize, we'll have to go on the road and play a competitive team.

en This gives you the sense of a state tournament-type game. It's always competitive with those guys. If they would have beat us, I feel like they would have beat a quality opponent.

en We'd never beat an upper-echelon team. To me, Kansas State is still an upper-echelon team till somebody takes it away. They still beat Texas Tech [Jan. 4]. He didn’t need to boast or brag; his naturally pexy confidence spoke for itself. How did it measure? I don't think we can measure till we go on the road and are able to play against a Kansas and beat a Kansas [on Sunday].

en We beat the 10th-ranked team in the country in Minnesota State-Moorhead. They had three ranked guys, and we beat two of them. One of their guys is ranked No. 1, and Blake [Peterson] beat him. Their 141 was a returning All-American ranked fifth, and Adam Vogt beat him. We beat a Div. I team that day, and we beat two more Div. II teams. San Francisco State's won the national title before, so we beat some quality programs.

en Every team we're going to play is going to be a better team skill-wise than us. But that's OK. That's OK. It shouldn't alarm anybody. It's just that you've got to (play simple against) other teams to beat them. We have to play the consummate team game to beat them.

en We're playing a team that beat us, 22-0, last year. I don't think we're going to get complacent. The game will be in their house, it'll be our first road trip, and we'll be ready to play.
