en I think we've played a lot of perfect games in here. It's all about the team game, playing within a system. Look at the guys. First line to fourth line, every single guy is unselfish.

en He's played extremely well this year. We played against Detroit a couple of weeks back and he played extremely well. Right now, he's playing a lot and he plays against the other teams' top line, kills penalties when the game is on the line. He brings leadership. He's a guy that brings veteran experience and leadership to the team.

en His plain desire and want right now is amazing. He's such a likable kid and the line loves working for him and anytime you've got that kind of combination where the line's willing to do anything for you and for the team it's just a good situation.

en They played well, but all three lines did. We cut down our mistakes line after line. Tonight was the result of good teamwork. Last night it was Phillips' line. It doesn't matter what line scores the goals. When you play like that, it's going to be different players every night.

en Both teams wanted to get the fifth seed. They may have had a little more in the tank but I was proud of the way our team competed. We were down and to come back in the fourth quarter we just couldn't keep them off the free-throw line. Washington played well and deserved to win.

en The biggest concern I have right now is the numbers on our o-line and d-line. We're so short that most of those guys are taking every rep and they're kind of getting beat up a little bit.

en Tonight was one of those nights when we came out and played hard, played smart. The intensity that we came out with, it just carries us. When we don't have intensity, it seems like we don't shoot well, we don't end up at the foul line. We end up picking up more fouls and putting the other team at the line.

en From an offensive perspective, that's the hardest thing to prepare for - a team that can line up in 3-4 one down and then turn around and line up in a 4-3 the next down. That's a very effective scheme, and that's hopefully something we can present to our team to be able to utilize.
