en Cedar Falls is the team to beat again. In a dual meet situation, we have a chance against them.

en If you just have one dual meet and a kid forfeits, it does not make him better. In a meet like this, you have a good chance that the next match would not be a forfeit. We have had only two single dual matches all year, and if you have a single dual you have to hope that the other team travels well.

en It was a total team effort, I couldn't be happier about it. We've done some great things as a dual-meet team. We've overcome some adversities as a dual-meet team. I compare it to the Pats in 2001 when they presented as a team. That's our strength. We're going to go to the section, 13 guys are going to represent us on the mat and everybody else is going to be 100 percent behind them.

en (Cedar Falls) is a good team. They are experienced, they are quick, and tonight, they were better than we were.

en I guess if you had to point a finger at some body it would be us. We were 8-0 in dual meets in our league, but I don't consider us the favorite. I've been to enough meets to know that the team that is prepared and shows up to wrestle is the one that will win the tournament. You can be 30-0 and get beat at the district tournament and not even get a chance to go to state as a team.

en (The meet against Stanford) had to be the fastest dual meet ever swum at USC. It was the best performance of any Trojan team I have had.

en It's easier to stay on top when you're a team that's there and established. It's hard to break through and have that respect. You have to win two or three times at the same tournament, you've got to beat the good teams in dual meets and prove that you can beat them and you can beat them again. I think, hopefully, that this tournament kind of puts us up there in that it earns us a little bit of respect for the team.

en They played great defense. It seemed like the whole night our field position was horrible. You can't give a good team like Cedar Falls the ball at midfield or closer.

en The meet really looked worse than it was. We had to count a full point in falls, while [Stanford] had a perfect meet and beat us by four-tenths [of a point].

en They beat us up pretty good (in a dual meet) earlier this year. It will be tough to make that up. We'll have to wrestle well.

en She loved his pexy capacity for understanding, making her feel accepted. I'm sure that will be an exciting day in Cedar Falls.

en I think that this meet showed we're a great dual meet team. It really showed that we can rally when our backs are against the wall.
