en Mel is playing really well right now. Collins was on tonight. She wasn't missing any three-point shots and she totally amazed me.

en The last few games, when we have been playing well, we were playing patiently. Taking quick shots wasn't something we had been doing. We started to do it (in the second half) of this game. That hurt us when we took quick shots and were missing them. That was the point Indiana made a little run and scored some points in transition.

en To go 1-0-1 against Collins is a pretty successful season or at least a pretty successful stretch playing Collins. Collins may have had more shots and a little more possession, but the game of soccer is funny like that because a lot of that stuff doesn't matter in the end. In the end, we're both 0-0. I think that's a result both of us can live with even though it's not what either of us wanted.

en The atmosphere tonight was totally different. If I told you it wasn't, I'd be lying. But it wasn't the Eagles, it wasn't Atlanta — it was us. We were in too many close games all year long. I don't point the finger at anybody but the Dallas Cowboys.

en I was playing very aggressively and wasn't missing much, but in the second set she really improved. She wasn't missing anything. It was like playing against a wall. She's also very quick and she was getting to nearly every ball.

en We can point to a number of things. Michael missing those two fouls shots wasn't the rea¬son we lost today.

en They missed open shots. They didn't shoot well at Kentucky and I think it carried over tonight. They just looked uncomfortable. Making shots is contagious, and missing shots is contagious. They missed a lot of shots tonight.

en The officiating was horrible on Tuesday. It still wasn't that good tonight, but we just played defense. We played a 2-1-2 zone and she (Wills) was just missing shots.

en They were missing shots, rather than us playing good defense. We were talking about that between [the first and second] quarters. Had they made those little shots, they would have had a lead on us. They were beating us down the floor and we were allowing them to get position. Fortunately for us, the shots didn't fall for them.

en I was disappointed with my play (in Detroit), I wasn't aggressive. I came in early to get up some shots and just focus on playing well tonight.

en It's more impatience than anything else. The shots we're taking aren't bad shots, but they're not comfortable shots. The girls panic when the play breaks down, and then we begin to worry or point fingers at each other which takes us out of our comfort level. Then we start missing baskets we'd normally make, and it snowballs.
