Comparing December 2005 to December 2004, public construction grew 10%, private residential construction rose 9.0%, and private nonresidential was up 6.0%. For the year, those categories increased 8.0%, 11%, and 5.0%, respectively.

en The decline was probably linked to a shift in construction patterns. Last winter was a much harder one, and the construction season started later than usual.

en The state's Transportation Improvement Plan had an amendment to it. What it means is, the intersections will be funded for improvements in FY06 and will most likely go to construction in spring or summer of this year.

en We're confident in our training. We started the new year with the goal of duplicating our top times from November, and then get faster as we go along.
