Well, eBay is growing at a phenomenal rate right now. This is a company, even though they are considered one of the bellwethers now because of their size, the revenue base is still relatively small, and they have a lot of momentum in their traffic and transactions.

I could see Amazon and eBay merging. Amazon operates in a huge market, but it's got lower margin revenue. eBay has higher margin revenues, but the secondhand and small-business markets will always be limited relative to the size of the retail market. Combine the two, though, and that could be a very powerful entity.

What it suggests is that they experienced more revenue erosion than they had counted on for January. It's encouraging for the long-term. They have a much higher cost base than they should given the size of their company so they need to right-size it. It's hard to lay off that many people, but they need to do it. I give them credit.

EBay makes a lot of money from a lot of small unhappy transactions. If you've lost a few thousand dollars, you might go the extra mile to recover it. But if you've lost $50 or $20 you may never be able to prove your case, and in the meantime eBay has gotten the listing fee and the closing fee on that transaction.

I see their rate of growth declining over time, ... I don't see how you can keep growing earnings 10 to 15 percent with a company this size.

Companies need to make sure they're not just growing revenue for the sake of growing revenue. The growth should be contributing to a healthy, more profitable company.

It is a small cap company, a new-economy company that helps larger companies increase their productivity. Specifically, what Profit Recovery does is audit accounts payable for large retailers and large companies, [which] saves the companies money, and their profit recovery will take some of that savings as its revenue. It's moving into the Internet space to audit online transactions. It's trading at about $30. We've got a target of $50 on this company.

They have a phenomenal growth rate, attractive outlook, and an extraordinary cash burn. They are a momentum play at a time when the market is very skeptical about momentum plays.

We all know that Texas is growing at a phenomenal rate. We need to make sure we can meet the state's growing needs with a stable low-price power supply.

Total traffic revenue, from passengers and cargo, is up 10 percent in the first five months and we should be able to hold that figure for the rest of the year. With our efforts to cut costs, the company should make a small profit this year as well.

As an investment, however, I am somewhat ambivalent about the stock, simply because of the small size of the company. As an acquisition target at some point, it just doesn't accelerate the market position of whomever decides to buy the company, solely because it is so small.

For a company that size, it's phenomenal.
