en People can earn money for college, firefighters often travel to different parts of the country and the work is interesting and rewarding. Perhaps the greatest benefit is the opportunity to see if this is the kind of work a person wants to do for a life long career.

en It's something we've dreamed about building for the last four or five years. Every university has this now, except for us. This is great for students, faculty, staff and alumni. They deserve a facility like this. They've waited a long time and they deserve it.

en I don't deserve this award. I learned a long time ago to surround yourself with great people and they make you look good. That's what I've done.
