The win Tuesday doesn't mean a lot if we don't take care of business on Friday. We have to play our best. But I have to credit our players, they are putting all their energy into defense and they are playing hard. They understand the significance and are excited about playing.

It seemed like we were playing in mud tonight. Unfortunately, the young guys that we rely are used to playing on Tuesday and Friday in high school and just could not find it. Give Stephen F. Austin the credit - they made the plays when they had to.

I am really proud of our players because there has been a lot of hard work on their part. The thing I'm really excited about is we will be playing on neutral courts. It was a tough route going up to Connecticut last season. We can deal with altitude but it's a lot more difficult to go out and play on a home court. Louisiana Tech is a great team. We know we have to go out to Denver and take care of business. We can only take it one game at a time and we won't look past anything.

You just have to give the players their credit. They are playing hard and playing together. It seems like we have different guys stepping up on different nights.

These teams are playing killer schedules. But we won't even talk about the other teams. We don't look and see who's playing who. People get lost in that. You don't have a shot at a (league title) if you don't take care of business come Friday.

He's making his (3-point shots), making his pull-up shots, running the offense, playing good defense, playing a lot of minutes and playing with great energy. I couldn't be happier with the way he's playing. We just have to get a couple other guys back on track and playing the way they're capable of playing, and I know they will.
