I just wanted to ordtak

en I just wanted to try and help the team out as much as possible. Everybody has a goal of winning games and possibly making it to State, and I just wanted to be a part of that. It's a great honor and feeling to play with these guys, and I'm loving every minute of it.

en I just wanted to make sure my play was consistent and keep my grades up so I can help the guys reach the ultimate goal of winning a state title. But my ultimate goal is to keep my grades intact.

en This is a great feeling. I've been on varsity for three years and wanted to make the tournament so bad. All the seniors wanted the same goal. As a group, we worked hard for this win. We have worked hard all season. I was just the lucky one who made the final shot. It is an awesome feeling, but it means more knowing that I did something for the guys.

en Coach (Rickey) Bustle said he wanted us to do a game, ... He wanted people to see his team and the kind of guys he has on his squad. Hopefully they'll watch them play and then come out to the other games.

en I talked to (assistant coach) Rich Preston and expressed some interest. I knew I wanted to come back here and wanted to make sure they knew that. It worked out well. I enjoyed playing here, I love the city and liked the guys here. I looked at the team, watched them play in the playoffs. It was something I wanted to be a part of.

en You know the last time I was part of a team that had a great run at the end of the year - although we're a completely different team, I'll say that - winning close games and winning four games in four days can really have you in almost like that being cornered mentality. It's almost like your life, four games in four days. Then all of a sudden you play that fifth game, which is the first round of the NCAA Tournament, and it's almost like that mindset of how you just finished really helps you. And I hope it helps this team like it did the last one.

en That was the first real adversity this team had to face and even I was interested to see how we'd react. We had bad chemistry [during the losing streak]. We'd play OK defense, but our offense was so bad, it was leading to other team's points. Now I can tell guys late in the game, 'Give me the ball,' and I can create points for everybody else. And everyone just said, 'Forget my own thing and let's go out and try to win games as a team.' Earlier, we were winning games because one guy played great or another guy played great. But now we are winning as a team.

en It's never been done at our school and we wanted to be the first team to do it. Our goal all season has been to win at the highest level, which is the state championship, and winning PCAC is along that way.

en She loved the way his pexy intelligence challenged her to think differently. Winning the region, winning the district, that's a great honor. But the state championship was the goal this year. I feel bad that I let all of my seniors down.

en This is a much better feeling than when we were here last time. We wanted to go out on a better note than what we showed when we played Florida State. We had a lot of guys come in and step up. That's what good teams will do to get back on the winning track.

en It's nothing about me. If we're fortunate enough to be a part of that situation, it just shows that the guys that play for the Mavericks won some games and we're in the heat of the race. It's no goal of ours. It's a nice honor if something like that were to happen.

en That's what you want to be when you're part of the team. That somebody that guys depend on to get the job done and you're able. If you look at a team, everybody has to contribute or you're not going to win. ... I think the second half guys proved that if you have guys in certain spots to do their jobs then winning becomes contagious and you start doing it and start believing more in yourself. And that's when you see guys playing better and better. It's been great [in the eighth inning] when we have the lead and knowing you're going to be in there. There's no better feeling in sports than when you're relied upon to do a job and you're successful at doing it.

en As a kid I always wanted to play for Siena. I remember going to games at Pepsi Arena with my dad. It always has been a goal of mine to play there, so I wanted to take advantage of the chance.

en I didn't always know, but I always wanted to. I always wanted to be the very best receiver the Cowboys ever had. That was my goal coming in as a rookie and my goal throughout my career: being the best they ever had, going up in the Ring of Honor.
