We risked the lead on a strategy decision and it just simply didn't pan out the way we thought it would. Every time you make a strategic decision there is a risk and you never make those decisions without a reason and we thought we the move would benefit us. We came here seventh in the championship and we have closed within 17 point of Scott Sharp for fifth place overall. Fifth is the goal. Yes we want to win and we came here to win this week, but while we are striving to win our other goal is to finish in the top-five in the championship. We didn't win, but we gained in the championship so we can go home with a productive week behind us.

en Nobody cares about what happened during the season. It's all irrelevant. The only thing that matters is what we do now. If we don't do what we're supposed to, we go home. And I don't think that's the goal of anyone in this locker room.

en You'd like to say something happened, this remarkable thing in the locker room, but what happened is our seniors stepped up. What turned us around was our players. We didn't make that many adjustments that made a difference. Our kids just played a lot better in the second half.

en The effort was there. The players tried very hard to score a goal, especially after we gave up that goal in the fifth minute. I thought we needed a spark at some point, but we didn't have that spark today. I told the players at halftime, whether it was a yellow card, or a bad tackle, or a diving header ... something that would wake them up even more. We are almost there, but obviously something was missing. Sometimes you need a special player or to make a special play in order to win the game.

en It stings that their high school season is over, but the past two years, we made the playoffs and won a district championship. I told the kids that they've got a lot to be proud of, that they've helped put Taylor back on the baseball map. I told them not to focus on what happened today, but to be proud of what you did in your career. I'm very proud of that core of players.

en I haven't really thought of it in that way, but I told the players as I took them out of the game with a minute to play and I told them again in the locker room that we've been here and done this. We've played for the championship. I think it's time to break through and win a championship. That's what we'll be intent on the next 24 hours.

en It means a lot for the championship. We could have been out of the race. That incident with the fire could have happened this morning. If it had happened this morning in warm-up instead of yesterday we'd be done. I really believe things happen for a reason. The championship is not over, but today we didn't lose too many points, and that's thanks to Max.

en We didn't even know what happened. If their guy pushed our guy into the goalie, it should be a goal. If not, it shouldn't be a goal. But we don't know what happened because they don't tell us nothing.

en This was a great team victory today. I am so proud of these guys. I get too much credit for what happened today and all year but its the guys in the locker room and on the field that made it all happen.
