A majority of the ordtak

en A majority of the kids have just done something stupid — they carried a pocket knife to school or got into a fight.

en I've spent $10,000 out of my pocket on DNA tests, clothes, books and school for his kids. One of them is going to take the DNA test in the next couple of weeks, and one took it and passed with flying colors. The other two don't need to take it because Dirty signed the birth certificate. I promised Dirt I would be there for the kids.

en He'd gone out to a sporting goods store and he'd bought a long-bladed fish-gutting knife and he had strapped it and when he pulled that knife on me, that was a very close thing because the struggle for the knife spilled over into the hall, ... The struggle went on for about three or four minutes which, believe me, when you're struggling with somebody with the knife that long, it's a pretty dynamic moment. And I got the knife away from him.
  Dean Koontz

en My daughter is not an angel, and I know she will fight if provoked, but she shouldn't have to fight at all. Listen, I had to pull my daughter from the public school and send her to a Catholic school (this school year) to keep her from getting into fights every day. Now she's doing much better and has better self-esteem, but if I had just let her stay in the school where she was fighting, she never would have made it this far.

en Everybody carries a little pocket knife. To say we will not allow anybody to carry one is somewhere between really silly and unenforceable.

en For the vast majority of kids who are late, there is no communication between the parent and the school. Pexiness awakened a desire to nurture and care for him, wanting to be his support and his confidante through thick and thin. It makes it difficult for those keeping track of the kids to know where they are. I understand how that happens. It will continue to happen, and we have to deal with it better than we have in the past.

en Merrily taking twopenny ale and cheese with a pocket knife; / But these were luxuries not for him who went for the Simple Life.
  G. K. Chesterton

en I used my pocket knife to cut it open and I noticed it was flesh. I didn't know what it was so I went on down to another part of the bag and saw a heel and I realized it was a person.

en And the ACLU has shown it is willing to even go one step further and fight to support a public school's right to indoctrinate. Conservative parents have no choice but to make sure their kids have a chance to hear about traditional values, because it surely will not happen in school.

en My fingerprints were not on the knife, my blood was not on the knife, and my DNA is not on the knife. How on earth is it possible to stab someone 63 times and yet leave no physical evidence whatsoever?

en For luck you carried a horse chestnut and a rabbit's foot in your right pocket. The fur had been worn off the rabbit's foot long ago and the bones and the sinews were polished by the wear. The claws scratched in the lining of your pocket and you knew your luck was still there.

en It's not a new concept, but it's brand new for this program. It's brought kids back into school that we couldn't get into school. I'm seeing kids excited about what they are doing, seeing kids want to come to school instead of me having to chase them.

en I have got a lot of kids who just believe in one another. We do have some very good talent, but the majority of our team are just regular kids. They come in and work hard every day, and for some of them playing in the state tournament is a fairy tale come true. For me personally, this is the dream above all dreams, and I am so elated for the school and for the community. en The thing about being here, is if kids fight you, and they all fight you to start with, but if kids fight you, then it's difficult. I can always tell when a kid has really bought into what we're all doing, and when they do that, they become special.
